Gazprom says it, Kazakhstan discuss gas supply, transportation
MOSCOW, Jun 29 (PRIME) -- Gazprom and Kazakhstan have discussed prospects of cooperation, including natural gas supplies and transportation, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
"A working meeting has been held today between Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller and First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar,” the statement read.
“Cooperation development was highly appreciated at the meeting. The sides discussed urgent issues and prospects of cooperation, including in the sphere of transportation and supplies of gas."
Gazprom and the government of Kazakhstan signed a roadmap for gas industry cooperation in January. Gazprom and QazaqGaz signed an agreement on transportation of Russian gas through the territory of Kazakhstan to the clients in Uzbekistan in June.
